Through the hourglass

Since ages, through the hourglass, time has witnessed change in the society, while  Darwin’s law taught us of human evolution with developing intelligence along with changed bodily structure, we are yet to completely learn ,soul too plays an important role in the history of evolution.

An invisible, unknown entity, whose abode is universe and innumerable galaxies where it dwells is yet to be understood by mankind, soul is considered to be the most important topic of research in recent years.

Metaphysics , a latest branch of science, speaks on such topics but tries to find logical reasoning behind the same.

Ancient mythology and scriptures had illumined us about this essential part of our life.

Without a Soul, a human has no life.A body even though a mechanism, remains devoid of life without the soul.

If the body is dead, then does the soul die?

Nay, it skips out of the human cage and bondage .Then,is the body lifeless, because without soul, the body has no meaning ? If so, then why does the body gets hurt in pain ,if it is devoid of life? Millions of questions can struggle inside our phenomenal brain mapping , yet we lose the thread of this eternal question.

Whatsoever the logical reasoning behind this, the fact remains:

The beauty of a soul lies in the acceptance of its existence. The kind of love , a sufi feels for his Divine , is realized only through the rooh/soul.He who sings in the darkness of life and glimpses the eternal light penetrating through the dark sky , manifests the Divine and its bliss.

“Kehta hai man , kar qubool har dua meri , ae khuda

teri rahmat mein chipi hai meri zindagi

naa karo qubool toh koi gila nahi

bas nazre inaayat karna, mujh par

ae khuda….

yahi iltazaa hai … har pal, har ghadi”.

“AMBROSIA”- THE FOOD & DRINK OF GODS

“Ambrosia ” -The eternal food and drink of the celestial beings and gods which makes them immortal.

Well! This is what we have learnt and read through our mythological scriptures. What is so special about this food or drink that makes it so extraordinary and provides immortality? Is there any mixture of potion added or some unique composition which makes it stand out from the rest?

Ambrosia is sometimes depicted in ancient art as distributed by a nymph labeled with that name. In a myth, an opponent to the wine god Dionysus, violence committed against Ambrosia turns her into a grapevine.

Amrita is a hindi or sanskrit word for Ambrosia.

Amrita is produced in the “ocean-churning” samudra manthan legend, which describes how the devas, because of a curse from the sage Durvasawere to lose their immortality. The two sides, god and demons then churn the ocean and create (among other wonderful things) amrita, the nectar of immortality.

Amrit too ,according to yogic philosophy of Indian spiritualism,is considered to be the liquid which is secreted while being in ecstasy and utter bliss ,during the assimilation with god or while having such an experience during meditation which carries the soul to different realm of consciousness.

Ambrosia is considered to be a sweet liquid, similar in taste like honey, referred normally as nectar.

The whole gist reflects the drop of ambrosia or the essence of Ambrosia ,the food, is not a substance that can be used as an intake to get immortality of life.

It is the sweetness that is extracted when we churn out the evils from our body and mind ,leaving behind only the immortal part ie.the soul.It is in fact the drop of nectar which gets secreted when the soul reaches the ultimate level of consciousness and leaves behind the rest to experience the spiritual bliss, which make it immortal.

DOOR TO THE BLISSFUL OCEAN!

 DSCF3093

The wooden door behind was an architectural delight. The glass pane fitted in it enthralled me.

As I pushed the door ajar, an alley of sophisticated grandeur gleamed.

Facing the beautiful green lawn the tiny drops of pink and yellow“ coloured flowers bloomed in the background.

Beside the quiet swimming pool which attracted every onlooker to have a dip in it the walk along provided a soothing feel. A small gate opened out of the garden and lo! It faced the blue gigantic ocean.

Was life as simple as this?

Passing through an alley of troubles and distractions,or a dark one surrounding our minds with fear would we find a way or a door which would lead to the ultimate blissful ocean!

What a mystical world this is ! yet it shows and provides every disheartened heart a solution to lead it through the darkness onto the path of light. But man is known to be more intellectual than the other living beings on earth ,or it presumes so and hence it tends to lose the connection with the divine which the nature tries to demonstrates through its different ways!

Fear the most common and dreadier situation of a mind and heart which kills the innocence and the liveliness of a soul, ultimately deadens the once energetic and cheerful being!

For fear of money, power, life, health, family, affairs, status, society, love, hatred, insecurity is the leech which would suck the blood out of a person slowly while the individual remains unaware of the reason of the unnecessary pain and ache!

Born free on this land, a mind which has been given a body to take care of has the power to do wonders and which the soul keeps on reminding .

We just need to listen to that voice of ours and concentrate our attention on the power of our mind to achieve the impossible.

The fear of these useless things would vanish in a glimpse and the flame of the liveliness of a person will always remain ablaze!

JOURNEY OF KNOWING SELF

tumblr_mom9pbasdm1s83v8no1_1280

Beyond the comprehension of a common man’s mind and perception, the road to the mountains of the Divine  had appeared in my dreams.

It wasn’t a fantasy nor an illusion, even though I forgot about the mystical dream very soon as I woke up.

The next day again I resumed my journey from the place where I had stopped. I stopped for a moment, gasping and feeling breathless. As I managed to look above for few drops of water that would quench my dried throat,I got  mesmerized with envelope of the luminous clouds and aura of the atmosphere. I forgot about my pain and my aches.

The view was scintillating and it absorbed all the pangs of my bruised self.

For a moment I traveled beyond the realms of earth and had reached the doorsteps of Divine, then I remembered the journey is yet to be completed.

And for a second I turned around to see what was there that I had left behind on this spiritual journey.

A silhouette ,I saw for a flash second and it vanished and dissolved in the zephyr as if it never existed.

My eyes got misty, seeing the footsteps that were trailing behind me and I recollected the words , “Keep walking my child. The journey is yours and you have to travel alone, while on this path of truth and wisdom for the journey of reaching Divine is the truth of knowing self …I am with you every moment, whenever you fall or need me,I shall be there to hold you with care. Trust your faith and walk.Never look back, for that would mean ,you have lost your belief in me and whenever you do so,I will vanish.

You will have to restart your journey then, from the initial stage to reach the destination .”
