THE UNBORN GIRL CHILD

When will they realize, the people of India that a girl is as valuable and equal as a boy ?

When will they stop killing the innocent unborn child who sleeps silently inside the mother’s womb unaware of the intention of  people  who are waiting for her end?

Seeing the cruel faces and gruesome thoughts of her own people ,she dies of agony ,even before the minuscule is killed.

Rise from the narrow thinking of the false traditions and value the life of a being.

O! people of India, who worship the goddess as the deity ,respect the one who is still unborn and needs your  love as much as a boy does!

“Ambrosia ” -The eternal food and drink of the celestial beings and gods which makes them immortal.

Well! This is what we have learnt and read through our mythological scriptures. What is so special about this food or drink that makes it so extraordinary and provides immortality? Is there any mixture of potion added or some unique composition which makes it stand out from the rest?

Ambrosia is sometimes depicted in ancient art as distributed by a nymph labeled with that name. In a myth, an opponent to the wine god Dionysus, violence committed against Ambrosia turns her into a grapevine.

Amrita is a hindi or sanskrit word for Ambrosia.

Amrita is produced in the “ocean-churning” samudra manthan legend, which describes how the devas, because of a curse from the sage Durvasawere to lose their immortality. The two sides, god and demons then churn the ocean and create (among other wonderful things) amrita, the nectar of immortality.

Amrit too ,according to yogic philosophy of Indian spiritualism,is considered to be the liquid which is secreted while being in ecstasy and utter bliss ,during the assimilation with god or while having such an experience during meditation which carries the soul to different realm of consciousness.

Ambrosia is considered to be a sweet liquid, similar in taste like honey, referred normally as nectar.

The whole gist reflects the drop of ambrosia or the essence of Ambrosia ,the food, is not a substance that can be used as an intake to get immortality of life.

It is the sweetness that is extracted when we churn out the evils from our body and mind ,leaving behind only the immortal part ie.the soul.It is in fact the drop of nectar which gets secreted when the soul reaches the ultimate level of consciousness and leaves behind the rest to experience the spiritual bliss, which make it immortal.

The topic for today is” MEMORIES”

So What ! If  time has wings and the moments fly away to higher skies and deepest oceans ,some twinkling as stars ,while others remain as mystical happenings, still they are in the core of our heart shining for ever as  “memories”.

Did she tell this to her fiancee, when they met at a cosy place for dinner?Oh !What was she thinking of now? It has to remain as past, the old ties would never get revisited and she has to forget about it.Even though the memories always gave her a deep sense of joy and delight and she could drown in it for hours without getting disturbed. But things were different now.

Life was now at another crossroad and she had chosen a path to walk with Daryl. How was she going to tell him about her past. The thoughts confused her more and she finally fell asleep.

Ten years ago,Sylvia was a loving girl in her twenties ,bubbly and cheerful, ready with her pranks and surprises. Both she and Alfred loved each other intensely and were supposed to get married on the coming Christmas eve.Alfred was her longtime friend and was her classmate too.Her Christmas present was really precious ,as this time it was her love being gifted to her …

The reindeers outside usually jingled their bells and the sledge moved on quitely without any noise. Even though it was snowing outside and the Lapland glowed with various luminescences and colours ,Sylvia hardly noticed anything .

This time she opened the door and a strong gust of air rushed in pushing her aside. The cow bell, that she had bought from Swiss Alps hung at her doorstep sounded with the blowing wind… She came out to see what it was?and found nothing.

This Christmas almost after a decade ,she was going to marry Daryl.

As she stepped inside and closed the door, she was shocked to see a figure standing in front of her. It was Alfred in his favourite attire.

“Why are you here now”? She trembled and asked .

“I come here to take you along”.

“I cannot leave you like this alone and with someone else.”answered Alfred.

“What nonsense”? said Sylvia.

“Iam happy and so you do not need to worry for me.”

“Oh! Is that why you have tears in your eyes.”

Sylvia got conscious and wiped her falling drops across her cheeks.Alfred came and kissed her crimson cheeks.

Before anyone could understand , Sylvia had fainted. When she got up, she saw her friends and relatives moving in her house. All preparations had been done and the marriage was in few hours.

She was still  lost in the whole incident and could not recover…

She never  knew why Alfred had ditched her and never turned up on the marriage night.

But why had he come now? When Iam starting  a new life?she pondered.Again lost in her memories, her fear grew more,as the night became darker.

His kiss still had the imprint of his breath on her skin and she stayed in that moment ,never to know that Alfred had died in an accident on the night of their marriage and she had lost her memory since then. She only had Alfred in her memory.
