Through the hourglass

Since ages, through the hourglass, time has witnessed change in the society, while  Darwin’s law taught us of human evolution with developing intelligence along with changed bodily structure, we are yet to completely learn ,soul too plays an important role in the history of evolution.

An invisible, unknown entity, whose abode is universe and innumerable galaxies where it dwells is yet to be understood by mankind, soul is considered to be the most important topic of research in recent years.

Metaphysics , a latest branch of science, speaks on such topics but tries to find logical reasoning behind the same.

Ancient mythology and scriptures had illumined us about this essential part of our life.

Without a Soul, a human has no life.A body even though a mechanism, remains devoid of life without the soul.

If the body is dead, then does the soul die?

Nay, it skips out of the human cage and bondage .Then,is the body lifeless, because without soul, the body has no meaning ? If so, then why does the body gets hurt in pain ,if it is devoid of life? Millions of questions can struggle inside our phenomenal brain mapping , yet we lose the thread of this eternal question.

Whatsoever the logical reasoning behind this, the fact remains:

The beauty of a soul lies in the acceptance of its existence. The kind of love , a sufi feels for his Divine , is realized only through the rooh/soul.He who sings in the darkness of life and glimpses the eternal light penetrating through the dark sky , manifests the Divine and its bliss.

“Kehta hai man , kar qubool har dua meri , ae khuda

teri rahmat mein chipi hai meri zindagi

naa karo qubool toh koi gila nahi

bas nazre inaayat karna, mujh par

ae khuda….

yahi iltazaa hai … har pal, har ghadi”.

The yearning for learning should never die !

Every moment in our life we observe and learn to evolve more and more, the moment we cease to learn, we stop growing and living. A person whether a millionaire or a pauper, a farmer or an intellectual has something to offer , which can be learnt .

Even a small child teaches us the way of living life with an innocent smile. We often tend to assume that after a certain age or after attaining higher education, we have become intellectuals and perfectionists, whereas the process of learning is never ending.

No one is perfect in this world and the strive to become one is the way of living life.

A poor peasant has something in his nature which we all should inculcate, the endurance and patience in which he works for the whole day in scorching heat and excess rains throughout the year, without failing and losing hope, is something which people of this generation and many of us havent’t experienced or ever tried to learn. His will to continuously struggle inspite of the unseen havocs of nature is firm and he remains determined.

Where are these virtues to be seen in individuals today? No school or university or any centre of education will make you realize such small yet important factors and values of life. It’s the life which teaches.

Always keep your eyes open to the surroundings and observe.

The yearning for learning should never die!

“AMBROSIA”- THE FOOD & DRINK OF GODS

“Ambrosia ” -The eternal food and drink of the celestial beings and gods which makes them immortal.

Well! This is what we have learnt and read through our mythological scriptures. What is so special about this food or drink that makes it so extraordinary and provides immortality? Is there any mixture of potion added or some unique composition which makes it stand out from the rest?

Ambrosia is sometimes depicted in ancient art as distributed by a nymph labeled with that name. In a myth, an opponent to the wine god Dionysus, violence committed against Ambrosia turns her into a grapevine.

Amrita is a hindi or sanskrit word for Ambrosia.

Amrita is produced in the “ocean-churning” samudra manthan legend, which describes how the devas, because of a curse from the sage Durvasawere to lose their immortality. The two sides, god and demons then churn the ocean and create (among other wonderful things) amrita, the nectar of immortality.

Amrit too ,according to yogic philosophy of Indian spiritualism,is considered to be the liquid which is secreted while being in ecstasy and utter bliss ,during the assimilation with god or while having such an experience during meditation which carries the soul to different realm of consciousness.

Ambrosia is considered to be a sweet liquid, similar in taste like honey, referred normally as nectar.

The whole gist reflects the drop of ambrosia or the essence of Ambrosia ,the food, is not a substance that can be used as an intake to get immortality of life.

It is the sweetness that is extracted when we churn out the evils from our body and mind ,leaving behind only the immortal part ie.the soul.It is in fact the drop of nectar which gets secreted when the soul reaches the ultimate level of consciousness and leaves behind the rest to experience the spiritual bliss, which make it immortal.

OWN THE MOMENT!

Own the moment and live it.

The moment that we are living in now, will be lost forever in the sands of time . And the lost moment can never be revived nor reinstated .

It is in this moment that we have to breath, live and smile. For the instant that vanishes ,evaporates in the atmosphere and cannot be brought back.Whether it is the part of work,or the expression of love, whether it is the smile that we forgot or the care that we should have showered ,it’s all in this moment that shall slip within no time .

Once slipped like the flowing tears of an eye, like the slippery sand ,it is lost .

Value the treasure of the pearl when it is in your hand and of this moment when you have it …for once you lose it ,you have lost one precious pearl from the casket of your life.
